Most recently, I served as the editor of TIME magazine’s opinion section, where I worked with hundreds of authors, thought leaders, academics, and journalists on topics ranging from culture, gender, and equity to health, climate, and national politics. Before that, I was an acquiring and developmental editor at Penguin Random House, where I edited bestselling and prize-winning books by a diverse group of authors, including Alok Vaid-Menon, Adam Eli, Kimberly Drew, Chella Man, Jessica Hische, Hanif Abdurraqib, Franny Choi, Ryan North, Erica Henderson, Melanie Gillman, Ryan Estrada, and others.
